Amazon Prime Video new prices
Prime Video monthly plan: increased from Rs 179 to Rs 299
Prime Video 3 month plan: increased from Rs 459 to Rs 599
Prime Video annual plan: Rs 1499, no change
Apart from this, Amazon has also launched its Prime Video mobile plan. This plan will work only on mobile devices and advertisements will be shown in it. The price of this plan will be Rs 89 per month.
Amazon said the prices have been increased to cover rising costs. At the same time, it is believed that as the epidemic subsides, the number of viewers has declined. In such a situation, Amazon had to take this step. Amazon had earlier increased the prices of Prime Video subscription plans in December 2021.
This step of Amazon is on the path of Netflix. Netflix has also increased the prices of its plans and has started showing advertisements in the cheaper plans.
